Stanton brings extensive experience in higher education and program leadership.

Stanton is deeply committed to advancing access to equitable education for all. He is dedicated to empowering learners and cultivating pathways that inspire innovation and drive achievement.
Before joining SparkNC, Stanton was an Assistant Program Director with the Carolina College Advising Corps at UNC-Chapel Hill. In this role, he supervised College Advisers and spearheaded recruitment initiatives to increase program visibility. He also held roles at North Carolina State University and Harvard University, focusing on mentorship, student development, and community engagement. His work prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion while supporting first-generation and underserved students.
Stanton is a North Carolina native. He earned his bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and his master’s from NC State University. He also earned a Nonprofit 101 Certificate from NC State’s School of Public and International Affairs. Mr. Fields is passionate about inspiring students to achieve their full
potential and creating innovative programs that drive meaningful educational change. He aims to inspire, motivate, and uplift students, empowering them to elevate from their current circumstances and achieve their dreams.
