Morgan Draughon

Morgan brings extensive expertise in technology-driven design, spanning instructional systems, product innovation, and user-centered graphic design. Her passion lies in harnessing cutting-edge technology to create engaging and effective solutions for the challenges of digital learning today. In her previous roles, Morgan excelled as an e-learning developer for the North Carolina State Employees' Association and as a instructional designer for Hobsons working on the K-12 tool, Naviance, where her creativity and technical skills delivered impactful outcomes and earned her the Impact Award. 

Starting in November 2022, Morgan served as a Consultant with SparkNC, playing a pivotal role in developing the SparkNC learning platform partnership with Area9. Now, as our Director of Technology, she drives this vital work forward. Beyond her professional achievements, Morgan is a dedicated advocate for community growth, generously volunteering her skills with various organizations to make a positive impact.

Morgan holds two bachelors degrees in French and English as well as a Graduate Certificate in E-learning all from North Carolina State University.
