Amie Caudle, Creative Director at SparkNC, has spent nearly two decades as a teacher, assistant principal, and director of professional development. Amie’s goal is to think differently about the way we deliver and receive professional development and she is excited to help marginalized students learn, grow, and explore pathways to high-tech careers through her work at SparkNC.

Prior to joining SparkNC, Amie served as the Innovation Coach and Director of Professional Development at Rowan-Salisbury Schools . She has presented at national conferences, including: NCTIES, CEU, and ISTE. Amie has designed and directed virtual and in-person conferences and served over 30,000 users across North Carolina with her work in virtual webinars. In response to the pandemic, Amie helped launched a K-8 virtual school with more than 100 staff serving 3,000 students. Amie has received numerous awards, including being named Teacher of the Year, North Carolina Public School’s Hero by the Department of Public Instruction for her work in professional development during the pandemic, and Discovery Education’s DENY award in the area of for innovation in professional development.

Amie holds a bachelor’s degree from Pfeiffer University and a master’s of school administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
